Draft pour at Hop and Hound. A hazy golden orange pour. Patchy fizz head. A pretty typical hefe for me overall, which is better than the typical wheat ale. Fresh feel on the aroma, floral, and banana. Very easy drinking hefe, light but flavorful. Cool and refreshing. Fruity but not sweet. Banana, but light. Bubblegum, but just barely. A tasty hefe here.

On tap at Silver City, pours a filthy cloudy orangey yellow with a small white head. Aroma brings out bananas and citrus, maybe a touch of clove. Flavour is along the same lines, with banana upfront, followed by citrus, wheat and clove. Clean and balanced, but nothing special. Decent.

Draught at Lockspot Fish & Chips Bar, Seattle
Cloudy blond color, with creamy head. Nice spicy aroma. Wheat flavor, very smooth, with delicate spice profile and late fruity touch.
A good Hefeweizen.

22 oz bomber courtesy of bvc. Poured into my .4 L Kulmbacher glass. Pour is hazed yellow golden with visible carbonation and a frothy 3 inch white head. Head is very lasting. Some patchy lacing lines the glass as the head eventually falls. Aroma of clove, citric wheatiness and a nice banana orange fruitiness in behind that. Taste is the wheat initially, with a nice mineral somewhat sour bite, following behind that is the clove and some dry white pepper in the finish. Clean, and refreshing. Palate is medium, unfiltered and very drinkable. Nice one, thanks Brandon.

Bottle Pours a cloudy murkey yellow with a thin white head. Malty german hef aroma. bananas and a littel spice. fairly mild though. Flavor is nice and fruity. Rather dominated by the banana flavors and a nice soft wheat body. Very soft carbonation. The 22 I had was filled to withing 1/4" of the cap. Sweet begginging, middle and end. Not as spicy as the style would dictate but I found it very nice and quite drinkable. Somewhat americanized German Hef I’d say.

On tap at the brewpub
Densely sedimented tan colour. Heavy banana/yeast aroma. Spritzy carbonation, which cuts through what would otherwise be kind of cloying. Lots of sweetness, light banana and a musty, footy yeastiness. Fairly dry in the finish as the yeastiness begins to dominate. Pretty far from the bright, lively hefes I like.
