Deep red, nice big raspberry nose with lactobacillus, quite tart, bracing but again big fruit. Tasty.

750mL bottle, pours a hazy dark pinkish red with a small pink head. Aroma is loaded with pithy raspberries, light acidity and a touch of oak. Flavour brings out deep raspberries upfront, with just a touch of tartness, oak and dry fruit skins. Musty, oaky and perfectly acidic. Excellent.

Bottle split at RB Best awards dinner, thanks, 30/01/16. Murky reddish colour with a decent crimson cap. Nose is strawberry pips, tangy raspberries, funk, damp hay. Taste comprises tangy red berries, sharp raspberry infuse, herbal notes, wood must, damp straw, funk. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a moderate puckering. Decent easy drinking sour.

900th sour rating! Bottle at De Garde. Pours a clear purple with small off white head that lasts leaving spotty lacing. The aroma is strong berry, lemon, hibiscus. Thin mouth, vinous, nice sour berry, light oak, really enjoyed this one.

On tap at the brewery. Aroma is moderately acidic with some nice raspberry notes and some light hibiscus. A bit meaty. Rather floral with some light citrus. Pours dark purple, red with a medium thick, meidum small, pinkish-purple head that recedes to a thin film, thicker on the edges. Light lacing and small legs. Flavor is moderately acidic with some nice citrus notes. Moderate raspberry notes with some medium light hibiscus notes. Medium light floral character. Hints of tropical fruit. Mouthfeel is medium light bodied with medium high carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth. Overall, a nice beer but something is slightly off in the aroma. Nice balanced berry notes with good floral notes. Acidity is a touch sharp but not too bad.

Draft - Tart sweet raspberry. Red purple with a light pink head. Tart raspberry and bit of acidity and a very dry finish. Intense, but maybe a bit too much acid in the finish.
