bottle from trade with RW80, thanks Robert. amber color, smells fruity, grapefruit, mango, light liqueurish, malty sweetness, light pines. full body, oily texture, quite a lot of sweetness, at first, some sour notes later. honeyish & malty sweetness, tastes fruity, mango, honey melon, some dried fruits, light alcohol. light to medium bitter finish, which gets swept away by the sweetness of the next sip. good but quite sweet.

From a 330ml bottle on 14/8/2014. Pours a cloudy golden with a medium head. Has a very pleasant aroma dominated by honey and lemon. Flavour wise, it features sweet stone fruit (peach, apricot), lots of honey, some light caramel malt, and a really assertive, lingering, resiny, slightly salty hop bitterness. The palate is quite creamy and the carbonation is average. Very balanced and packed full of flavour, I became increasingly impressed as it warmed. A very good and quite distinctive DIPA.

Bottle, 7.9%. Grapefruit hop aroma. Cloudy amber colour. Good stable creamy white head. The flavour is quite bitter. Has a lot of grapefruit, both the flavour and the bitterness. Spicy finish along with a good alcohol level. The rather uncompromising bitterness gets a bit much after a while, on the other hand, the sweetness does balance it off a bit. Oh, well...
