(Draught at Akkurat, Stockholm, 3 Oct 2012) Reddish amber colour with frothy, beige head. Malty, spicy nose with notes of Seville orange, citrus peel, caramel and lots of spicy hops. Spicy, malty taste with caramel, orange peel and a generous spicy, earthy bitterness in the finish. Almost full body, with a certain sweetness. Quite complex and very tasty. Nice one.

Draught @ Akkurat. Pours a beautiful dark orange color with a creamy white head. This beer is fruity, yeasty, burned and bitter of hops... at the same time. This is how I would have guessed a saison from Stone would have tasted like. A bit too heavy to be as drinkable as you expect of a saison, but on the other hand - quite interesting.

Draught at Akkkurat. Pours light mahogny with a big head. Nice saison yeastyness, well hidden behind lots of malt and hops. Good taste but too much taste and alchol to be a drinkable saison.

On tap at Borefts 2012, Bodegraven. Poure clear, vibrant red-gold with a fine, white cream head. Nose holds faint berries, a bit of yeast, light toasty dough. Big sweet flavor, some berry tang, faint leafy hops. Full bodied with fine to average carbonation. Moderate warmth to finish with yeasty and bready malts. Doesn’t really come together, and it’s a bit too heavy.
