Mooch tasting at Matt’s
Cloudy blond color, large head. The aroma is a bit spicy, coriander, but also cabbage. The mouthfeel is too dry and too much carbonated, alcohol is too evident, malt has no depth, and leaves too much space for off flavors such as vegetables, cabbage, onions.
Not my kind of beer.

Blonde and cloudy. Thin head. The aroma is quite yeasty, and with a dry hop character, and has a peppery top note. On the palate, the pale malts carry a nice character, again with dry herbal hops, and a fair bit of yeastiness.

Bottle: Poured a hazy light amber color ale with a medium size foamy head with OK retention and minimal lacing. Aroma of residual sugar notes with some Belgian style malt with light spices notes. Taste is somewhat cloying with some residual sugar and spices with some bready malt. Body is full with good carbonation and no apparent alcohol. OK but lack attenuation and ends up too cloying which impaired drinkability.

Bottle at RBSG Grand Tasting. Pours a hazy yellow with medium frothy white head that lasts. The aroma is yeast, clove, pepper. Thin mouth, fruity malt, yeast, light dry finish, good.

750mL bottle, pours a murky golden orange with a small white head. Aroma brings out farmhouse notes, with some light fruitiness. Flavour is fairly spicy, with farmhouse notes and light fruitiness. Stone fruits and spicy dominate. Pretty impressive for Saskatchewan. Good.

Bottle - Lots of fruit esters and sweet Belgian yeast. Cloudy gold with a decent white head. Sweet citrus and light Belgian yeasts. Not bad.
