Poured from 355mL can (thanks Peter). Dark brown with small beige head. Quite roasty, some feint fruitiness and wood. Decent, but not a ton of depth.

I like the name, fitting for an imperial stout. A better than average day, think I’ll use the Teku glass this evening. The 12 oz bottle came from the NW courtesy of the prodigal son, always appreciated. Lift the cap, tilt the bottle and observe the contents. A midnight black body with a ring of light tan bubbles and a consistent circle of recharged foam in the middle of the glass. The scent is roasty with grain and chocolate. The drink is pretty fair, I get scorched toast, dark chocolate, charred pecans, wood and black licorice. Just a touch of sweetness to break things up and a decent bitterness. A substantial sensation. No complaints here.

On Tap at the Brewery/taproom Nearly black pour, dense dark tan head. Lots of soft dark roast and notes of bitter chocolate and coffee. Full and smooth and pretty easy for 9%

12 oz bottle. Pours a very dark brown with moderate tan head. Aromas of dark powdery chocolate, licorice, creamy coffee and toasted malts. Flavours of toasted oak, rich dark chocolate, dry dark berries and smooth roasted malts. Good stuff.
