The aroma is soft cheese and oil lamp wick, has clear yellow body with no foam. Flavour is soft sweet apple, alcohol is very well hidden. Mouthfeel is full and there's no boozy aftertaste. It's not bad but the main selling point seems to be the well hidden booze.

Draft - Green apple and tannins. Clear gold. Sweet apple and a long sweet finish. Honey doesn’t really come through.

On tap at St. Augustine's, pours a crystal clear faded yellow with no head. Nose smells more like a cider than a mead, with lots of caramelized apples. Flavour tastes more like a blend, bringing out dry apples upfront, transitioning to honey. Still finishes dry despite the honey. Very nice blend of the cider and mead. Booze isn't detectable. Good stuff.

Plastic bottle from Brewery Creek
Deep blond color, with some lonely bubble. Light apple juice aroma, with light acidity, and no honey. Semi-sweet strong cider, with a lean body, and a kind of sweetness that can be due to the honey more than the apples, but the flavor doesn’t go beyond the apple. Simple.

Hazy, alarmingly luminous yellow colour. Fresh apple aroma with light nutmeg and clover or alfalfa honey. Sweet, sugary apple notes with a little spice. Refreshing, with very little evident alcohol and a much softer character than the Scrumpy.
