This slightly sour blonde is the result of a unique experimental combination of Brettanomyces Bruxellensis and Pediococus Cerivisae from Wyeast Laboratories.

Pours a hazy dark golden color, cannot see through it. Small head but the color is nice enough. Aroma first hits you with a nice very lambic-like sourness, there is a nit of a soapiness (taking away a little bit from the beauty of this beer) bu then a nice smack of granny smith apple skins. Love the strains of Brett used here. Taste is sweet apple sourness with a light kick of acidity at the end of the flavor. Some tangerine flavor in there as well. Very nice, and as described this is a sour Belgian mimicking lambics. Easy drinking with a dryness lingering for a long while after each sip.
11.2oz bottle, St Paul snifter/tulip glass.

330 ml bottle from tjthresh. Pour is hazed orange amber with fine carbonation and a 1/2 inch dirty white head. Aroma of tart sour citrus sweetness. I get strawberries too. Mostly the nose is about the wild yeasty sourness. After a bit, the strawberry turns to bubble gum. Taste is an all out acidic tart attack. Makes my mouth water a ton. Mid palate, this softens out a bunch into ripe pineapple tart sweetness. Not as much Brett in the taste, I am sure that will develop a bunch more. The carbonation is evident, very bubbly. The finish is more of the tart and very moist. Well executed beer, I enjoyed this a bunch. Thanks for sharing this Tom!

Pours bright gold into a tulip. Bright white head quickly recedes to skim surface and hug rim. Sour apple aromas. Crisp aspirin upfront with a dry, lactic apple with a hint of brett finish.

Cloudy gold color and very little carbonation, nearly still. The aroma is lightly sour, with the unmistakable presence of brett. Sour flavor as well with light spice and some acid. Not as sour as lambic, but good flavor nonetheless.

Bottle share at the Struise Farm with Urbain, Mesandsim and Duff. Clear gold, thick off white head. Lovely lambic/brett aroma. Lemon and touch of nettley hop on the aroma. The nettle is on the herby side. So drinkable, itβs unbelievable. Good carbonation. Lemon/lime aroma is gorgeous. Itβs kind of like champagne in terms of the fruit and spritzy zing on the finish which is both the carbonation and the fruit. Zesty and would make a great aperatif.

Draught at Monkβs CafΓ©, Stockholm. Clear pale golden, rich head. Aroma of lactic acid, balsamic raspberry and winegum. Dry and fairly light bodied, soft and vital with freshening acidity. Feels like a copy of the American copies of the Belgian sour originals. Each copying adds a dimension, whereas other details get lost.
