May 2015: Sample from 750 ml bottle. Slightly hazy golden colour, white head. Lovely aroma of brettanomyces, lemons and wine barrel. Excellent flavour too, brett notes, but not too sour. Spicy, vinous, tolerably well hopped. I want more of this!

Taster at Alibi with Sonnet celebrating Capstone 1 pass. Pours a hazy golden with a white head. Aroma is very pleasant with lots of grape notes and barrel. Taste is similar, quite dry and woody, but pretty good balanced. Good one.

Bottle - Funky brett, light citrus and some very light citrus. Cloudy gold with a rich creamy white head. Nice fruity sweetness, funk and light farmhouse, touch of bitterness and a very effervescent palate. Light white wine notes and a nice finish. Very nice and easy drinking, with some interesting complexity. Very nice.

Tasting at Matt’s
Cloudy golden color with medium sized compact head; a bit too murky. Nice aroma, wheat bread and light fruit, a bit vinous. Highly carbonated, fairly dry, very astringent, a bit earthy, and with moderate acidity; vinous, some Brett.
Not exceptional, but good.

750mL bottle, sent from Glouglouburp, pours a cloudy amber orange with a medium white head. Nose brings out loads of red wine barrels and brett in equal proportions -- as complex as always from these Assemblage beers. Flavour is quite funky, with brett upfront, backed by red wine barrels, a touch of oak and some earthy notes. Probably the least complex of the three so far -- much more earthy, less vinous and bretty. Still quite nice, but underwhelming given the quality of the series thus far.
