Glutenberg’s Blonde is the proud originator of the range, the pioneer of real good gluten-free beer. Airy and lemony, its golden colour reveals floral and slightly herbaceous notes, giving way to a dry and tasty finish. The brewery’s first official creation, it paved the way for success and continues to assert itself today as a thirsty beer that will charm all palates.

C’est bien désolant mais ma note est très honnête. Au moins, certaines bières commerciales ont de la mousse, de l’effervescence et du goût! J’adore vos IPA’s et la Série Gastronomique mais ça, c’est très passable...

Can from Total Wine in Folsom, CA. Pours perry color with a foamy white head. Aroma actually is mild fruit. Med minus body. Flavor is sweetish, fruity, and most prominent is some sort of spice that isn’t very pleasant. Like rye in impact but a galaxy away from rye in flavor. Not a fan.

Can at CiderWISE, pours a clear blonde with a small white head. Nose is almost nonexistent, with some earthy dank grains. Flavour is very dry and grainy, with toasted malt underneath. Simple, dry and balanced enough. Okay.

Bottle - Pale malts and some tea leaves. Pale clear gold with a decent white head. Light pale malts, bitterness and so very dry. Hard to describe but decent.

From a pounder can this beer looks very light, refreshing and sparkly. Somewhat mild sterile aroma. Lots of cutting co2 on the palate at first. Taste is a little disappointing for a blonde beer, at least initially. Flavor is a kindah difficult fer sure. Rather rude processed nature about it, but its still drinkable because of the co2. Gets a tad easier to drink as the session continues but it reminds me a bit of that slight gag urge I get from drinkin my home made cider. Unique for a beer, fer sure. Just don’t know what to think of this millet, corn and sugar beer.

A clear light gold pour with a thin soapy head. Weird yoghurt grape & fruity aroma that is a bit white wine like. Med-light bodied with a slightly rough mouthfeel. The taste is pretty good fruity vanilla & grapes again somewhat white wine like. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

34cl bottle. GAH! Just right to quote Frank’s review: "Holy crap this stuff is bad. It is made from millet, corn and sugar rather than your usual malt and/or adjuncts and somehow tastes like a bland, bitter apple cider gone horribly wrong". Ultra pale yellow with particles in suspension, thin disappearing head, smells bad already. Cider (and I don’t like cider), sour green apple, lemon, white wine. Metallic bitterness, thin body, acidic, alcohol noticeable already. Not for me, sorry.

Draught at St. Augustine’s, Vancouver
Blond color, hazy, with small head. The aroma is very light, but with a nice citrusy touch. Dry mouthfeel; hint of cereals flavor; correct bitterness, with light tea and bergamot impression. Very light astringency in the final.
Clean but weak.

I really enjoyed their APA (for a gluten free beer) so decided to purchase this 6-pack, found at my local Métro store. Pours a light yellow colour with big bubble carbonation. Head is white, small, foamy, does not last long and no lacing found. Seems like mild apple juice aromas, with notes of other tropical fruits. Carbonated, but light mouthfeel. Citrusy taste with some light cereals. Some mild hop comes out in the finish. It is hard to make good looking gluten-free beers, but this brewery makes great drinkable ones from the bottle.
