Bright clear gold beer, big fluffy white head. Palate is light, semi dry and has a fine crispness. An overly sweet floralness leads to a good dose of honey that starts to cloy a bit. Some sweet fruits underneath. Semi dry finish. A beer that wants to be a mead. Bleh!

Bottle 33 cl. Pours an almost clear golden with a white head. Sweet, cardboardish aroma. Rich body, heavy honey notes and a massive sweetness making the beer cloying and hard to drink. 171115

*Sweetish mild beer. The honey-aroma is there, round and fresh. Malty, sweetish, hints of malt, no bitterness. Nice but sweetish.

BOTTLE 25 CL. Clear dark gold, ivory creamy head. Fruity and malty with aromatic herbs - resembling the ordinary Leffe Blonde, flavoured with hone, or honey soap, candles, wax. The taste, is also a sweeter kind of Leffe Blonde - not exactly honey, but sweeter. Mild herbal hops. Smooth and rich body. Expected worse.

Bottle from supermarket. Golden colour with a thick white head. Aroma is sweet honey as is the taste, a bit over sweet so not much else comes through.

330ml bottle. Golden colour with medium sized white head. Strong sweet honey aroma, with some herbs and malts. The taste of honey is a bit overpowering though, too sweet I think, like drinking a syrup. With reduced sweetness I think this would be a much more palatable beer.

33 cl bottle at the Musée Leffe, Dinant. Pours golden, white head. Aroma is bread and honey. Sizzling, light, sweetish. Bitterless finish, subtle but persistent.

Bardzo slabe piwo, miod dodany jakby wydaje mi sie sztuczny, piwo za slodkie za ulepkowe oraz powoduje zgage. Piana natomiast przyzwoita i trwala, kremowa. Barwa klarowna zloto zolta.

Bottle from Tesco, drunk at home. Medium gold colour, clear, with a large-ish slightly rocky white head. Honey and yeast in the scent, with an odd medicinal - and unnatural - overtone. The taste is the big problem. Sweet, sweet, sickly sweet. I mean I like sweet beers but my goodness. Like eating sugar out of a bowl. Finish is, well, sweet, long, and honeyed to high heaven. One of those beers for non-beer lovers. A fair bit of it went down the sink.
