There is a long story to this malty ale. It was first brewed in the spring 2006 in Nørrebro Bryghus in Copenhagen, Denmark, as a joint brew between Nøgne Ø and Nørrebro. Nørrebro calls their version “Double Knot Brown”.

Fingerhögt krämfärgat skum. Tydlig kakaodoft parad med rökmalt. Härlig torr smak. Välbalanserad. Den kraftiga maltsötman möter precis lagom beska. Nögne bekräftar, igen, sin ställning som kvalitetsbryggare.

Flaske fra Polet, batch 721 (brygget 11/11, best før 11/16). Flott beige skum. Førsteinntrykket er mørk sjokolade og solbær med mørkere og saftigere smak etter hvert som temperaturen i glasset stiger. Nydelig balansert. Vel verdt de ekstra kronene opp fra NØ Brun.
