Exceptional taste is the only thing that will get you through the gate at this point. When defiance is threatening to bubble over, it takes tremendous restraint to keep what matters most in-check. Keep your cool, you got this.
Our flavourful Saison is discreetly sessionable. It boasts a crisp body with a dry finish and a bouquet that is distinctly Belgian. Hints of clove and spice, complemented by aromatic hops, make us stand out where it matters most.

Bottle thanks to Kurt and Erin! Pours a clear amber with a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has earthy straw with light fruits, Belgian yeast and a light sweetness. Flavor has light fruits and flora up front with Belgian yeast and a light grain backbone.

Not sure why these guys’ beers get burned so much - they are actually pretty decent on the whole. Hay and some citrus. Hazy amber pour.

650 ml bottle. Pours a hazy amber with light head. Aromas of wet malts, earthy yeast and stoned fruit. Flavors of bitter fruity esters, toast, light banana/yeast and a little wheat and spice. Medium to full bodied. Nicely balanced and easy to drink.

Bottle, Liquor Depot, Port Alberni. Amber and hazy. Thin head. Spicy, coriander elements in the nose. Has a spicy, dry character. Good body, nice biscuity pale malt character. For a young brewery that doesn’t even specialize in Belgians, this is a fine effort.

2015-03-08, draught at Alibi Room, Vancouver, 7-4-7-4-15=37
Hazy light amber color. The aroma is more fruity than spicy, probably after the usage of modern hops. Smooth and dry mouthfeel; the flavor is moderately spicy, the malt is nice, and it has a good bitterness level. Maybe a bit metallic in the final.
Very pleasant.
2015-01-14, tasting at Matt’s, 4-3-5-2-7=21
Hazy amber color, small head. Very bad aroma, vegetable soup, blood, metal. Good body strength; simple malt flavor with some vegetable. Ordinary bitterness.
Clumsy beer, bad bottle.

650mL bottle, pours a clear golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out vegetal notes, floral notes, and Belgian yeast. Flavour is muddy as fuck, with cardboard, yeast soup, and vegetal notes. This is really quite bad, with dry dusty cardboard notes dominating. Needs a lot of improvement.

Bottle - Vegative herbal notes. Cleanish gold with a decent white head. Meaty and vegative. Just not right.
