Pale, just slightly greenish. Appley, cinnamony aroma. On the palate, apple, cinnamon and nutmeg. Balanced, moderate acidity and a touch of alcohol. Not bad.

A pale blonde cider with aroma of ginger, apple jam, orange pulp, very nice. In mouth, a nice sweet fruity apple juice with light cardamom, ginger, cloves, alcohol warmth, very nice and smooth. On tap at cidery.

750ml swing top bottle. Pours a crystal clear gold with a medium, fizzy, short lived, white head that leaves spotty lacing. Sweet, spicy aroma of ginger, clove, cinnamon, coriander, orange peel, caramel and red apple. Sweet, spicy flavour of ginger, clove, nutmeg, cinnamon, coriander, honey, red apple, caramel, orange peel, a hint of oak and warming alcohol in a dry finish. Medium body with an oily texture and lively carbonation. Nice complexity. ABV is well hidden, making this dangerously easy to drink.

Nice faint white body and no head, earthy cardamom and clove on the nose with apple hints. Flavour is big clove and apple, Christmas cake style. Sweet but pulls back at the right moment and the alcohol is nowhere to be found. Very nice, I'd like a bottle of this for winter.

Tasting at Matt’s
Nice amber color. It’s a moderately sweet cider, with warm alcohol feeling, warm spices (cinnamon, cloves) and light orangey touch; the final is lightly hot, peppery; and it has some trace of mature apples. I know that this is basically not a true cider, but it’s a pleasant drink.

750mL bottle, pours a clear golden bronze with basically no head. Nose brings out light spices, medium sweet apples, liqueur, and a thorough dryness to this despite the high ABV, which is fairly well-hidden. Flavour is heavily spiced, with notes of cinnamon and clove upfront, followed by light orange peel, sweet apples, and alcohol. I know this isn't authentic, but this sure is well-balanced and multi-dimensional. ABV is scarily well-hidden, with not much of a burn, though there is a nice warming effect. Excellent non-traditional "cider".

750 mL bottle pour split. Pours a shiny pure gold color. Aroma of honey, spices, and warm apples. Cinnamon, apples, and brown sugar powered flavor, and very nicely done. Can’t believe this is so high in abv. Drinks easy. Wow. Awesome stuff.

Bottle - Warm dark sugars and spices. Clear gold. Spices, cinnamon, clove and some nutmeg along with apples. Like an apple turnover. Although heavy on spice a surprisingly light finish with only the hint of spices lingering.
