Dark brown body with no foam. Soft cold coffee aroma. Flavour is a bit of coffee and hints of spicy barley. Medium finish. They created a word for beers like this, and that word is "lacklustre".

Taster at the brewery. Pours an almost black with a tan head. Aroma is cold coffee and roasted malt. Taste is similar with some grainy, hoppy and roasted malt notes. Not bad.

Draught at the brewery
12oz
Black color with small beige head, sparse bubbles. Strong aroma of ashes and breadcrust. Soft mouthfeel, not too dry; the flavor is based on heavily roasted malts with a too evident ash component, but luckily there is also some dark chocolate, and nice dark bread; correct bitterness; the dark malts provide some very light typical sourness; the final is a bit drier, but still balanced.
Good Stout.

Draft - Lots of roast and a bit of chocolate. Deep jet black with a decent beige head. Just as it smells and pretty decent.

Dark brown, aroma is a bit nutty and a hint if choc. Dry, full-flavoured, nutty and a touch chocolatey. Good complexity...dry hoppy finish but lots if body as well.

473mL growler, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma of mostly roasted malt, with some dry cocoa, and fudgy molasses. Flavour brings out more of the same, with medium roasted malt upfront, with some secondary notes of espresso and chocolate, followed by an earthy quality. Finishes lightly roasty, chocolatey and dry. Highly drinkable stout. Great stuff.
