Bit hazy, amber, thin head. Earthy, but also a fair bit of caramel. Drinks easy, moderate bitterness, caramel...sort of a generic English bitter character, though...novel for Seattle I’m sure but a bit dated.

Orange with a white head. Light citrus hops on the outskirts with toasted malt throughout. Light earthy notes. Soft medium body. Fantastic. (Cask at the source)

Cask conditioned draught. Good balance of aroma, some light bread and grass. Light enough to be a session beer with enough flavour. Lekker with fish and chips.

Cask at the brewery - nose of doughy malt, earthy british yeast, citric american hops - flavor is kind of sweet, minimal.yeast character, moderate mineral - finish is all american hoppiness - I was hoping for authenticity, but this is still decent, I suppose.

On cask at Machine House, pours a clear dark copper with a small white head. Aroma is true to style, with English hops, cardboard, and herbal notes. Flavour is identical, with herbal English hops, some cardboard and cereal malt. Not overly interesting, but well-balanced and drinkable. Decent bitter.

Pump - Twig and some acrid tea notes. Hazy copper with a smallish white head. Twig, toast and a bit of cocoa with a burnt toast bitter finish.
