Keg at Cask. Muddy brown colour, no head. Aroma is ham sandwich, smoke, bit sweet and syrupy. Taste is ham again, smoke, bit sweet. Thick. Obviously weird, and interesting for a bit but a half was too much.

Bottle from Kestral, thanks! Brown color. Rye, peach and citrus in the aroma. Rye bread, citrus, pineapple and peach in the flavor. Sharpish with a sticky mouthfeel. Some spices in the far background. Good!

Fin rødbrun farge. Lite skum. Lukt av krydder og karamell. God smak av frukt, krydder med en anelse smak av karamell i ettersmaken.

Tap at the Cask, Pimlico - 14/12/12. Lightly hazed chestnut brown with reddish hues and a thin white head that quickly clears to a very small edgeing. Nose contains sour notes, light wood, raspberry jam. Tastes of sweet sugars, cherries, darker fruits, touch of liqourice, light menthol tones, a little smoke. Medium bodied with soft carbonation, light sourness in the finish. Interesting enough brew, drinkable but this is the second time I’ve had it (had a year or so ago pre-rating days) and I don’t feel the need to re-visit again!

Draught @ Cask Pub & Kitchen
Aroma is weird and stale with some vanilla and strawberries. Flavour is a bit odd with some fruity and toffee notes and lactic acid. This is not very sour but it has a feeling of lambic, maybe it is the leathery notes. Odd, but somehow I like it - like a light oud bruin without sweetness.

Bottle: Poured a cloudy amber color ale with a large off-white foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of herbs that resemble some very fresh floral hops notes which makes for a very nice aroma. Taste is very refreshing with dry malty notes and some dominant floral notes with light green notes. Body is quite full with great carbonation and no apparent alcohol. Very solid beer with great drinkability factor and nice floral touch but also very hard to describe.

Cloudy amber beer, no real head. Softish and semi dry palate. Sweet malt with caramel. Trace of smoke. A little fruit in the undertone. Finishes with sweet smooth malt.

50cl bottle @ De Molen. Gusher. Clear dark copper color, no head. Smell malts, sweetness, some herbs. Taste malts, sweetness, some herbs and clearly influences from the gruit. Towards the end it gets a bit weird though, can’t really explain. Low to medium body and carbonation.
