Great for drinking on a sunny patio or knocking back after a long day’s work, Burnabarian is a table beer, or Belgian-style session ale. Named for the city that Dageraad calls home, Burnabarian is lightly spiced with coriander and is brewed with oats for a silky mouthfeel.

Bottle, thanks for the cross-pacific delivery Sunshine& Josh Light mealy, dry citric nose. Dry body, sparkly, but with substance - quite a bit actually considering its strength. Wheaty entry, dry Belgian spices, a tiny hint barn, citric and tropical notes in the background, lemon peel retronasal. Very drinkable well balanced summer drink, wish I had another bottle :-)

On tap. Pours a bright amber with moderate head. Aromas of Belgian yeast light banana and peach. Flavors are similar with good yeast/malt balance. Nice, simple Belgian.

Draught at Alibi Room, Vancouver
Hazy golden color with compact head. A lively happy beer, with a sharp yeast character, a bit floral in the front, while unexpectedly the maltiness is more evident in the final; also, traces of chamomile and paper.
Another good brew from Dageraad, with an original touch.

Draft - Pale malts and light candy citrus. Clear light gold with a decent white head. Pale malts, light sweetness and a light bitter dry finish. I am from Burnaby and am not this boring.... Draft at brewery - Much more yeasty esters with lots of fruity banana notes on the nose. Still pretty boring though.

On tap at Prohibition, pours a clear pale yellow with a tiny head. Nose is weak and artificial, with apples and fake sweetness. Flavour is every bit as artificial, if not more, with sickly sweet apples and maybe a hint of cinnamon. About as uncomplex as you can get. Not terrible, but very uninspiring.
