Voltage Espresso Stout

Heavy coffee, not great but not bad.

473mL can. Pours black with thin beige head. Aroma has notes of toasted malt and espresso. Flavour is espresso forward with solid toasted malt notes. Not super complex but a decent coffee stout.

473ml can. Pours an opaque dark brown, almost black with a slight amber hue and a medium, creamy, long lasting, tan head that leaves curtains of lace. Aroma of roasted malt, espresso, dark chocolate and earth. Sweet flavour of lightly roasted malt, caramel and milk chocolate in a dry, mild bitter espresso finish. Light body with an oily texture and soft carbonation. A bit thin for the style, but still tasty.473ml can. Poured from the tap. Dark brown with minimal beige head. Roast malt, decent coffee profile, sweetish finish, slightly creamy texture. Some good flavours, slightly thin and not totally cohesive, but not bad.

Black body and brown notes with dark beige head. Nice sweet stout aroma boosted witb roasted coffee beans. Flavour is nice sweet stout with soft creamy coffee flitting about the back end. Kind of watery for what it is, should be fuller. Pretty good in some ways but missing the whole picture.

Bottle: Poured a light black color stout with a brown foamy head with good carbonation and light lacing. Aroma of floral espresso notes with some light roasted malt. Taste is a nice mix between some espresso notes with some light roasted alt and some lactose-like sugar notes. Body is light but has a nice creamy texture with good carbonation. A bit thin but I enjoyed the espresso notes in this beer.

A deep dark stout with a thin mocha head. In aroma, woody chocolate malt, pea notes, OK. In mouth, a nice bitter chocolate with light coffee notes, light nutty notes, light mineral notes, nice and smooth. Bottle from GRM at his place.

Some light cream and a little coffee. Not a lot to this. Light roast. Black pour with great mocha head and lacing. Bottle my dad bought.

Draft - Dark roast and light coffee bean. Deep brown black with a decent light brown head. Roasty and lots of coffee bean. A bit thin on the palate but flavours are nice.
