2017-02-04. 750ml bottle at Jonny’s during Eclipses 2016 tasting. Pours a pale golden with a white head. Aroma is fermented fruits and vegetables, lemony, funky, slightly dirty. Taste is pretty the same. Not bad.

Bottle thanks to Chow. Pours a hazy gold with small white head that diminishes to nothing. The aroma is strong oak, brett, funk, lemon zest. Medium body, strong brett, oak, funky, lingering dry finish, good.

Bottle. Can’t remember where I bought it - either at Legacy or at the brewery. Hazy pale amber. Fairly thick head. Orangey, grapefruity, bretty and complex. Sweetish, with light pale malts. Has a touch of citrus and brett to add complexity. Well-balanced, a top quality beer.

Bottle - Stone fruit and light spice. Hazy gold with a nice white head. Lots of peppery spice, stone fruit and a yeasty finish. Nice, light bitterness and tartness with a creamy texture.

On tap at St. Augustine's, pours a cloudy golden orange with a small white head. Aroma brings out notes of dough, light spiciness, and some farmhouse yeast that I would've never guessed was brett. Flavour is spicy upfront, with toasted crusty bread and light yeast further back. This is surprisingly simple and off-the-mark for Upright. Nothing really wrong with it, but this is pretty banale. A rare miss from Upright.

Draught at Alibi Room, Vancouver
Cloudy blond color with compact head. Mild spicy aroma, very light wood and citrus fruit. Moderate residual sweetness, a bit too woody, with tannins and a touch of vegetables, and some cedar peel.
Nice beer, not exciting.
