A refreshingly light body with a ghostly haze, this hopped up white ale sings of lush tropical fruits and subtle hints of spice. Fermented with classic Belgian Witbier yeast and infused with copious amounts of new world hops for a balanced burst of citrus and pineapple.

Quite Ann-Frankly I wonder how all these new local microbrews are gonna survive against each other... do Vancouverites drink so much beer as to necessitate a dozen brewers within their boundaries? Even in li’l ol’ Delta? Well, this pours with a bleach white flour head of decent density and a bright yellow body with modest carbonation. Heavy IPA aroma of hops, no complexity but appetizing enough. Flavour of hoppiness, again not complex, with a dry hop finish. Slightly watery on the mouth, perhaps by design, but missing the oiliness that really drives a good IPA home. It’s okay for sure, but in a blind tasting of local IPAs I swear I could never pick it out.

22oz bottle pours an extremely frothy, hazy orange with loads of white head. Nose has some dusty couch, yeasty, orange, mild cheese cloth. Flavor is peppery, yeast, candy, orange. Chalky finish. So-so. Definitely not an IPA. More of a wit.

Bottle - Sweet tangerine and grapefruit citrus with a bit of yeasty funk. Hazy gold with a rich bubbly head. Perfumy, citrus and a balanced but nice bitterness that is quite refreshing. Very well done and flavorful.

Draught at Alibi Room, Vancouver
Cloudy golden color. The aroma is fresh, fruity, very floral. Light mouthfeel, dry, with crackery malts; strong bitterness , fairly resiny, a bit fruity too. The final is somehow earthy.
Very nice.

Draught, Rogue Broadway.
Cloudy yellow, fluffy head. Aroma is big, bright, orangey, tangerine, light coriander, and subtle yeast, very spicy on the palate, lots of coriander, good biscuity malt character, subtle citrus. High bitterness for the style and this really shows in the finish. Makes me wonder if it was actually the Apparition, but mislabeled.

On tap at Four Winds, pours a hazy pale blonde with a small white head. Aroma brings out lots of earthy and hempy hops, some biting floral notes and a crisp crackery malt backing. Flavour brings out potent floral hops, some earthy and hempy notes, and a dry crackery malt. Finishes on notes of hempy hops. Very smooth palate, with a pillowy mouthfeel. Very nice stuff.
