Our Hop Ottin’ IPA is brewed and dry-hopped with copious amounts of Columbus and Cascade. This beer is a showcase of the bright citrusy aromas, bold grapefruit and pine-like flavors, and resiny bitterness that hop heads crave. With a brilliant, deep amber color and solid malt backbone, hints of citron, roses, and bergamot peak with a dry, herbal finish in this well-balanced interpretation of a West Coast IPA.

12 oz. can shared by Chalumeaux. Hazy orange color, light whisky head. Aroma is abundant in caramel, mild floral tones, and weak pine.

Floral hops, weak pine, mostly caramel malts. Bitterness in the form of pine and tries to come through the sweetness. Medium body with standard carbonation. Ok

Poured from can hazy copper orange with a nice white head. Aromas of honey caramel malt floral hops and some pine. Taste is malt and more malt with nice grapefruit pith and a lingering piney hop bitterness.

0.33 l bottle from Pivoteka, Zagreb. Shared with Višnja 666, Tanja, Davor and Goran. Murky orange, lasting small off-white head. Light hoppy, although faded, herbs and citrus. Quite bitter, mostly herbal. Medium body, gentle bitter finish. Good, maybe fresh would be better. Not very impressive, but no flaws.

On tap at Craft Room. Ruby-amber body, misty, with a thick white head, somewhat lasting. The aroma strikes immediately as not perfectly fresh, but manages to deliver assorted citric herbal, piney notes, backed by a sweetish maltiness. The taste is... well, f*ck crystal malt. Crystal malt & IPAs are not a good combo. They rarely actually work well together. There, I’ve said it. But still, the hops have worked hard enough to retain a fine citrusy-herbal presence, before plunging in the abovementioned caramelly malty depths. Ends dry and slightly papery. Nicely balanced really, a good beer by all means, just the hop-malt combo doesn’t do it for me.
