Our Hop Ottin’ IPA is brewed and dry-hopped with copious amounts of Columbus and Cascade. This beer is a showcase of the bright citrusy aromas, bold grapefruit and pine-like flavors, and resiny bitterness that hop heads crave. With a brilliant, deep amber color and solid malt backbone, hints of citron, roses, and bergamot peak with a dry, herbal finish in this well-balanced interpretation of a West Coast IPA.

Clear, copper colored, medium frothy off white head, nice lacing and lasting. Aroma is of malt and caramel, medium floral, some citrus and fruity hops. Taste is medium+ sweet, strong malt and caramel, moderate floral and fruity hops, some grapefruit, some orange candy but light, medium+ bitterness, lasting bitter dry finish. Medium+ bodied, soft carbonation, oily to resiny. Nice. (bottle, Pivoljub Ljubljana)

Bottle from Albert Heijn. Light hazy dark golden with off white to light beige head. Sweet caramel, nice fresh tropical fruits with mango and passion fruit, quite some grapefruit, fresh grass, fresh baked bread. Medium sweet and bitter. Medium bodied. Lots of nice fresh notes, way better than I expected!

Bottle at home from Albert Heijn. Clear orange golden with white head. Big sweet malts, resin, honey, nectar and orangepeel fruitiness, some doughy yeastiness as well. Medium sweet, medium bitter. Full malty body with soft carbonation. Syrupy honey-like feel, more-bitter-than-sweet floral finish. Flesje gedeeld met familie. Oranjerood, helder bier met weinig schuim. Aroma en smaak zeer hoppig met een vleugje sinaasappel. Nasmaak is bitter.

As I write this, my tastebuds are being held hostage by a band of very scratchy hops. It’s an incredibly bitter, astringent aftertaste with notes of pine and spearmint that gives this beer an unpleasant finish. It all started so well with notes of fresh bread and honey as well as a little stone fruit. There’s also lots of honey up front in the mouth before those bitter hops charge down your tongue and and start hanging from the roof of your mouth.

Anderson Valley Hop Ottin IPA A deep copper with a thick beige he'd that leaves soapy lacing behind - this opened with a bit of a spry of foam. The aroma is dank resinous pine with some florality as well as a good amount of malt sweetness. It smells like a classic IPA. Sweetly malty with a bitter piney hop bit on a beer that's got a pretty full body and a smooth mouthfeel. A decent no muss no fuss IPA. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Közepes, de nagyon kitartó habkorona, sötét, már-már félbarnába hajló borostyán szín. Citrusos, komlós, tipikus ipás illat. Íze tipikus IPA, intenzív komlós ízvilág, kissé édeskés és gyantás, trópusi gyümölcsös aromákkal. Hosszú utóíze édesen keserű, némi ananásszal és grapefruittal. Testes, de nem nehéz. Kiváló, friss, jó egyensúlyal rendelkező sör.
