Our Hop Ottin’ IPA is brewed and dry-hopped with copious amounts of Columbus and Cascade. This beer is a showcase of the bright citrusy aromas, bold grapefruit and pine-like flavors, and resiny bitterness that hop heads crave. With a brilliant, deep amber color and solid malt backbone, hints of citron, roses, and bergamot peak with a dry, herbal finish in this well-balanced interpretation of a West Coast IPA.

Celebrated International IPA Day drinking this baby. Pours clear golden with rich lasting white head, excellent lacing, beautiful hoppy aromas, medium body, satisfying smooth and oily mouthfeel, very good carbonation. Aromas of citrus, herbs, citrus/orange/lemon peel bitterness, hints of grapefruit and exotic fruits like pineapple or mango, spicy and peppery notes perfectly balanced with bread and caramel sweetness malts, some notes of sweet white grapes or Mediterranean wine. Its amazing hop character was perfectly paired with a mix plate, smoked salmon slices on brioche bread, spiced up with fresh basil and black pepper, along with Greek olives, brie cheese and paprika dip. I’m thrilled!

Ambar anaranjada, turbia.

Can from Seoul plaza, Bratislava. Amber color with huge persistent white head. Strong citrus hoppy aroma with caramel. Solid malty base with caramel and honey, followed by nice portion of citrus hops with grapefruits, pines, resin. Long hoppy bitter finish. Tasty.

Old rating. Bottle from old town. Nose is fruity with biscuity and sweet malty aromas present. There’s only a slight hint of resiny hops on the nose. Fairly sweet and malty with bits of pine coming out. Well-balanced though a little sweet. Reminds me of a British styled pale. Good stuff. --- Beer merged from original tick of Hop Ottin' IPA on 10 Aug 2017 at 20:08
