A Classic since 1987
Balance is what makes our Boont Amber Ale so unique: rich, crystal malts give this beer a deep copper hue and contribute a slight caramel sweetness while the herbal, spicy bitterness from carefully selected whole-cone hops impart a crisp, clean finish. Hints of sun toasted grain, toffee, and fruity esters compliment the mellow, noble hop aroma.

Bottle. Amber color. Citrus, melon and a hint of grass in the aroma. Firm grassy hopbitter flavor with citrus and toffee notes. Long grassy aftertaste with some tropical fruit. Pleasant.

Reddish amber ale. Decent ivory-coloured head. Nose: honey, caramel, melon, citrusy hop. Light plus body. Taste: caramel, honey, dried fruit, light hop. Light bitterness. Old bottle. At this point just ok.

26 June 2018. Sample at 't Taphuys, Tilburg. Shared with Anke.
Hazy amber/copper with a lasting, small, foamy, off-white head; lots of lacing. Aroma of caramel, raisin, dried fig, walnut, almond, peanut, vanilla, bready malt. It tastes medium malty sweet, hints of raisin & caramel, and light hoppy bitter, a bit nutty with a very light citric sourness. Herbal & grassy hoppy finish, lingering bread & caramel. Medium body, fluffy texture, soft carbonation. A distinctly modern Amber Ale.

Vörösesbarna szín, kicsi, tartós hab. Alig érezhető, gabonás, leheletnyit karamelles illat. Gabonás, kissé édeskés, nyomokban karamelles ízek. Könnyed, enyhén szénsavas, csak alig érezhető keserűvel. Kissé szegényes ízvilág , de kétségtelenül kiegyensúlyozott. Ezaz a sör, amit egész nap eliszogat az ember.

Ein realtiv süffiges, süßes Bier. Es könnte tatsächlich etwas ausbalancierter sein, aber ein gutes Trinkerlebnis.
