Tap at Jack Astor's Square One Slightly hazy deep yellow with a thin white head. Crackery bready pilsner with bits of green apple earthy floral hops and light grainy maltiness. Not too shabby.

This Blonde poured a medium amber colour with a big, bright white head. Nice lacing. Scents include sewer gas, grapefruit and grapes. First swig was very watery and thin. Flavours of sour, light fruit and ? Finish is bitter with citrus hops lingering. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Last of the, what to this point has been underwhelming, beers I grabbed from the brewery. Pours a slightly cloudy blonde with a bit of of white heads that takes the express train to ringsville. Really mild nose of citrus hops, a little resin, tropical fruits and mild cereal malts. The taste is quite light. Dry hay malts, some resin hops and a bitter finish. While not quite reaching the 5% mark, it’s close so I was expecting a bit more in the flavour department, rather it comes off as a rather watered down session. How disappointing.

Can from the brewery. Cloudy pale amber with a generous fluffy white head that leaves good lace. Nose is light bread and some light floral hops. Light toffee and corresponding light bitterness. Medium mouth with average carbonation and light bitter finish. Decent enough.

Can from the LCBO. Pours a golden colour with minimal carbonation, a foamy-frothy white head, good retention and some lacing. For a blonde ale, I quite like the aromas. Cereal grain, caramel, honey and some beautiful grassy hops. The hops are not as strong in the taste, which is fine, as this would be a APA if so. Still, some nice mild spiciness over the grain malts. Written unfiltered, but not really hazy, even with the excessive swirl of the can. A nice grainy Blonde Ale.
