Can. Hop Hideout, Sheffield. Clear amber. Film of clingy, slightly off white head. Very fusty, almost sour, grainy malts. The crystal is evident. Pithy, zesty, orange hop. Taste is chewy sweet. Chewy bitter. Soft, oily palate. Long, zesty, bitter finish. Tasty gear. Not particularly vibrant, though. A bit heavy.

Tap at Hoppy Loft, 17th June 15. Pours orange, yellow, aroma is balanced hops and malt, taste is on the malty side, good hopping, orange, some marmalade, heavy mouth feel for the ABV. Pretty good

Can from Saveur-Biere.fr, smuggled into the cinema and drunk whilst watching a very disappointing film. This was quite decent though. Very hop-forward pine & citrus character. Hit the spot.

Poured into SA perfect pint showing moderate filtered, caramel brown with a finger of sparse white foam. The nose shows an interesting aroma of honey and pineapple. The palate shows low carbonation and medium bodied. Sharp biting IPA bitterness overtakes much of the palate, however a slightly existent malt backbone supports the beer. Good to start but a disappointment if you choose for it finish. But your palate is always the judge.

Can from The Beerhive. Hazy amber body with a thick off-white head. Steady carbonation. Excellent lacing. Aroma of honeyed malts and orange. Flavour of grapefruit, sweet malts and menthol. Medium body with an oily texture. Soft fizz. A bit too sweet for me, but still a tasty IPA.

This was poured into a nonic pint glass.
The appearance was a nice hazy burnt golden orange color with a one finger white foamy head that dissipated within less than a minute. Light lacing speckled the glass nicely.
The smell had a sweet to bitter citrus rind with a sharp pine rolling in to balance.
The taste was mainly a sweet to bitter blend of citrus and pineyness. A lingering bittersweet pine invades in the aftertaste and leads to a bitter finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a fairly decent sessionability about it. The carbonation pounded appropriately to provide a nice harshness strutting over my tongue.
Overall, I say this was a pretty good AIPA that I would have again.
