Bomber, bottled a little more than a month ago. Aroma is mild citrus, floral, candy sweet, orange creamsicle. Pours nearly clear new penny copper with a one finger bone-white head that falls into a big-bubbly ring somewhat quick. Taste is medium level bitter backed by some candy sweet malt. Noticeable alcohol presence. Kind of straddles the line between old-school ’90s style IPAs and modern juicy hop iterations.

On tap at Basin Street Bistro, Ephrata. Nice solid IPA, clear amber with sticky head. Hoppy aroma and taste, minor malts peek through the brew. Good example of the NW style.

Draft pour at the brewery. Pours a clear copper color with a lasting foam head. Soft grains and light hops aroma. Flavor is initially hoppy. A bit toasty with more hops lingering in the finish. Had this many times in the past, and it remains solid. Nice IPA.

Draught at The Beer Junction, Seattle
Hazy golden color with compact head. Ordinary IPA, the aroma is also lightly footy, the hopping is fairly resiny and fruity. But somehow unclean.

Bottle, 22oz. An almost clear one, golden in color and with a white head. The aroma has some malts showing up, but it’s the piney, citrus peel like hops that runs the show. It’s quite bitter on the palate, full-bodied and dryish, with a nice carbonation level. Citrus peel, pine cones and a little malty touch in the flavor, lasting for a good while, where the bitterness level feels just right. A fine specimen, feeling a bit old, but sure nice and easy drinkable. 140531
