This beer was inspired by Belgium’s incredible variety of strong, blonde ales, ranging from semi-sweet to bone-dry, that offer a huge range of fruit, hop and spice flavours. Dageraad Blonde gets its depth and complexity of flavour from European hops, spices and our house yeast.

Dageraad Blonde is fermented with Belgian yeast, bottle-conditioned and keg-conditioned for natural carbonation, and an extra layer of complexity.

12oz pour at Biercraft. Pours clear pale yellow with white head. Aroma has spicy belgian yeast, bugs, dry grass. Flavour has tons of dry grass, spicy Belgian yeast, bugs. Fuck that's enjoyable.

Enjoyed this a little more than their tripel actually. Flavor is more subtle like he just wore a watch around hia neck. Golden pour with decent head. Light florals. Light sweet finish. Tap at Alibi.

On tap at the brewery. Pours hazy pale golden with a white head. Aroma, taste and aftertaste are spices, floral hops. Very good balanced beer with sophisticated residual sweetness.

Seriussly, even Burnaby has gots a brewery? I swear I cain’ts keeps up. But anyways this was found in Calgary of all places (funny they didn’t pop up when I was down in Van-Can-town last month) and pours with a big solid famy heady and okay foggy yellow body at a warm 9.3 degrees celcius. Lots of wheat and barn funk on the aroma. Flavour is heavy Belgian yeasts, hay, and funky wit notes. Really smart in fact, brings me back memories of the old country. Will look them up next time I’m in the GVRD.

Tap at drakes. Slightly stuffy aroma. Light hazy pale golden, white lace. Medium light body. Dry citric fruity body, light apple and granateapple flavor. Easy drinkable, not super exiting.

Bottle: Poured a cloudy deep blonde color ale with a medium size foamy head with medium retention and minimal lacing. Aroma of light spices with some residual sugar and some Belgian malt notes is interesting. Taste is a bit heavy on residual sugars with some spices that are noticeable and a solid light Belgian malt backbone. Body is full with limited filtration and medium carbonation with no apparent alcohol. Overall, this was good but a bit too heavy on residual sugars while lacking some complexity.

Poured from the tap. Slightly hazy light blonde with white head. Flavour of Belgian yeast, mild citrus and spice, mild alcohol. Medium body, finish is just a little bit quick.
