As rugged as the terrain traversed by the 23 Cariboo camels, this IPA boasts a unique hop profile. Reigned in bitterness allows the flirtatious battle between the resinous character and tropical notes to play out. Look for hints of lychee, citrus and evergreen. This unfiltered IPA finishes dry, with an ever so slight malt influence. Don’t be alarmed by the hazy appearance- that’s just flavour with no place to hide! From mostly pale and Pilsner malt, with a bit of crystal and Munich, bittered with Nugget hops, and dry-hopped with Citra. Bonus: the story of how camels were used as pack animals during the 1860s gold rush to Barkerville.

On tap. Pours a dirty amber with moderate head. Aromas and flavors of dull fruit and wet malts. Nothing really wrong just nothing worth noting

Okay bleach white head and golden body. Soft hops aroma. Flavour is more hops but not too sharp, kind of restrained, medium finish. Okay IPA, middling, blah, whatevs, just okay. Meh.

Bottle, Legacy.
Cloudy tan, herbal hop character with a dash of spiciness. Fruity, sweet, has a light coriander note, sweet malts balance well in the finish.

On tap at St. Augustine's, pours a cloudy dull orange with a medium white head. Aroma brings out the English hops upfront, with a nice crackery malt backing. Flavour is wonderful, quite robust for an English IPA, with a generous hopping, crackery malt, and a piney finish. Loads of depth and high drinkability. Really great stuff.

Draught at Hopoxia 2014
Cloudy golden color with creamy head. Nice fruity aroma, Riesling. A bit too much carbonated, light malt profile, strong hopping; there are some hop resins and fruitiness, but more could be done.
Fresh and pleasant.

Draft - Grapefruit and pine. Cloudy orange with a decent white head. Grapefruit and a pithy bitterness. Simple but decent.
