On tap at the brewery. Dark brown and translucent with a hint of purple. Coffee with cream and heavy malt come through over a alight metallic odour. Taste is sweet with brandied fruitcake and raisin notes. Long malty finish. While not exceptional - there are definite flaws here - it is certainly tasty enough.

Draft at Cycle. Deep dirty Amber color, spotty lace down the glass. Aroma is caramel, Peted malt with mild English toffee. Flavor is a classic representation of the style. Caramel and sweet toffee right up front with a mild ale yeast throughout the middle turning into a mildly smoked ( peated ) malt which gives a weak smoked malt finish. Balanced of smoke and sweet malts, gives a nice overall feel.

Draft - Whisky malty sweetness with raisin. Jet maroon and a thin white head. Light sweet toasted grains, whiskey notes and a slight chocolaty note. Nice.
