2020-09-25, bottle from The Gull, North Vancouver, 7-5-7-3-14=36
Beautiful golden colour, clean. The aroma is a bit weedy, earthy, with elegant notes of caramel and bread. Dry mouthfeel, it's more difficult to get the same malt notes in the flavour; the hop is quite herbaceous, a bit piney; not really fond of the pithy bitterness in the finish.
Good experience to review a "classic", but nothing exciting.

A month later, the feeling is exactely the same.
2016-10-12, bottle, undated, 8-4-7-3-15=37
Golden color, clean, with large bubbles. The aroma shows biscuity quality from the malt, and earthy, manure from the hops. The mouthfeel is dry, the malt is a bit biscuity, maybe even grainy, the bitterness is strong, but the hop is resiny and a bit vegetable, not juicy, leading to a pithy ending bitterness.
A good beer, but not the best one in the Province, even not the best one from Driftwood.
2015-09-24, bottle, undated, 8-5-7-4-16=40
Hazy bronze color with large head. The aroma is quite pungent, with a dank touch. The mouthfeel is quite smooth; the malt flavor is present, with also light residual sweetness; the hopping is fresh, fruity, and also a bit dunky and earthy. The final is less bright, more vegetable than desired.
It seems more achieved than last year's.
2014-10-01, bottled 09.17.2014, 7-5-7-3-14=36
Wonderful golden color, hazy, with bright light, and medium sized compact head. The aroma is initially quite grassy; it mellows out then, and it also shows some sign of asian food, and wild animal. Smooth mouthfeel, semi-dry; the malt flavor doesn't seem to be of any interest, the hops have a hay and gras character; strong bitterness, but some mess in the end.
Confirmed tat this year's version is far from spectacular; it's still a good beer.
2014-09-28, draught at St. Augustine's, Vancouver, 7-4-7-4-14=36
Hazy golden color with compact head. Nice hop aroma, a bit earthy and grassy; good mouthfeel, soft pale malt flavor, light residual sweetness, grassy hops.
2014-09-25, cask at Tap & Barrel, Coal Harbor, Vancouver, 7-4-7-4-15=37
Golden to light amber color, hazy, with compact head. Nice aroma, milder than expected though, with bready malt and sweaty hop, a bit earthy, almost British. Good body structure, and correctly carbonated; the mouthfeel is smooth; lean malt flavor, suitable background for IPAs, with light colored caramel and toasty notes; very strong bitterness, strong resiny character from the hop, also fairly grassy and earthy, not fruity. The final is very long, but with woody (vegetable) notes too.
A very solid IPA, should I say that it's less fresh and less impressive than expected?

Hazy golden color. The aroma is nice, bread, cereals and hop. Lean, zesty, with good malt profile and good hopping, minty and resiny.
Excellent.
Fresh must be fantastic, can't wait to try the next batch.

Bottle (Großes Dankeschön nach Garching!!!): Deep golden, a bit unclear, stable creamy off-white head, flowery and distinctive piney hoppy nose; creamy MF, moderate to solid bitter-sweet flavour; lingering and well balanced piney-hoppy and caramalty finish. Great stuff...

650 ml bottle. 2012 vintage. Pours a clear gold with light head and lots of carbonation. Aromas of spruce/pine, leather, earthy/floral and sweat. Smooth. Chewy hops. Flavors of wood, malts, dried citrus candy, a bit of rubber, and a ton of fresh hops.

Amber, small lasting beige head. Salty spicy piney hop nose.Softly carbonated, light malt start, fruity overtones. Piney medium hop profile. Medium strength and length hop finish. Easy drinking. Decent enough , but has a barely detectable off taste I can’t identify

650mL bottle, pours a hazy golden with a medium white head. Nose brings out uber-fresh piney hops, light resin, and a soft biscuity malt backbone. Flavour mirrors the nose profile, with lots of super fresh piney hops, dough, a little resin, and a light malt backbone. Very fresh and highly drinkable. One of BC's best IPAs no doubt. Excellent.

2024: Can. Amber and clear. Medium head. Nice woody, lemony aroma with some toasty malt. On the palate, more of that old school chewy, toasty malt. More crystal malt than I've had in an IPA in a while, but it's well-extracted. Fairly bitter. Chewy, again with a bright woody sort of hop note. Well-constructed brew. Old school west coast IPA. 2017: Bottle. Amber, has a nice bright centennial - toasty. Light caramel on the palate, and toasty, woody centennial character. Certainly this is good - a good look at BC centennials. It's just not to the level of the hype. 2010: Bright amber. Thick head. Woody, herbal aroma maybe a bit oxidized at this point, with lots of earthy caramel notes. Creamy, chocolatey, toasty malts with lots of earthy bitter hops. Good beer - already a shade past its prime but worth looking for next fall. 7-4-7-4-15 = 3.7
