Bottle from Viti, Vancouver
Brown color, hazy, bright, with small head. Candi sugar and caramel aroma; light vanilla, wood. Lean mouthfeel; the caramel flavor is stale, there is a nutty touch, pretty sweet, with very low bitterness. Warming alcohol.
Appeals to sweet beer lovers. But it has a stale feeling.

Amber-red, hazy, aroma is very sweet with an overwhelming crystal malt. Heavy, syrupy, chewy mess, alcohol in the end, touch if fudgey malts. Not awful or anything but a rather pointless exercise.

Bottle - Bread, malts and a bit of toffee and apricot. Dark clear amber with a nice beige head. Biscuit, some fruit esters and a grainy sweet finish. Nice body, but flavor is a bit on the dull side.

650mL bottle, pours a deep dark amber with a small beige head. Aroma of very dry dark fruits, some crusty bready malts, and some earthy notes. Flavour brings out very dry deep dark fruits, bready malts, bread crust and some earthy notes. Some sweetness comes out towards the end combining with the dry bready and dark fruits. Finishes bready, fairly dry with only a touch of sweetness. Not the most complex or elegant beer, but drinkable enough. Okay.
