Bottle - Orange and Belgian yeast. Clear gold with a rich white head. Very yeasty as I would expect from a Belgian but a bit bland for saison. Second tasting - as above but lots of honey notes.

650 ml bottle. Pours a light gold with medium persistent head. Aromas of lemons and yeast. Flavors of lemons and white pepper with light floral/grassy notes. Mild and crisp for this style of saison but very nice.

Dull tan and vaguely hazy. Herbal, spicy aroma with a little bit of appley fruitiness. Dry, and a little bit yeasty. Lightly peppery and with a very subtle fruitiness. The malts are a bit husky, but otherwise is a straight-up saison. It hits the style, but doesn’t bring anything particularly interesting to the table - and it has a tripel-ish alcohol note late that detracts.

Okay gold body, nice foamy head on top. Aroma is a strong but well balanced mix of lemon and malt, fermented nicely together. Flavour is much the same - lots of malt with a sour twist, lemony and some hops on the back end. Decent, respectable, an extra point because the alcohol isn’t evident at all.

650mL bottle, pours hazy golden orange with a medium head. Aroma of citrus, orange peel, spices (coriander) and yeast. Flavour is very well-balanced, with spices, citrus, orange zest, and yeast, with a wet palate and dynamic mouthful in terms of the balance of flavours. Very well done from Lighthouse.
