Hazy amber, smells like a debacle - Mega bubblegum - not good stuff. Sticky, with some amber chewiness, light phenols. Gluey, chewy finish. Takes the worst of the Belgian yeast/hop components rather than the best.

Bottle - Raisin, earthy and some sweetness. Cloudy copper think bu persistent head. Brown sugar, malty, bitter and a dark malt aftertaste. Not sure where the Belgian IPA comes from, this is nice but poorly described. A malty, bitter sweet strong ale is how it comes across, without a strong Belgian yeast presence.

Hazy amber, little or no head.Nose of light citrus/light malt.Carmel fore,diacetyl hints, molasses & alcohol. Medium hop finish.Too sweet for style. This Is a Barleywine not an IPA (Belgian or otherwise). The second sub par beer I have had from this brewery.

A hazed dark amber IPA with a thin off white head. In aroma, smooth caramel malt with nice herbal hops, mandarine pulp. In mouth, a nice smooth herbal sweet malt with grassy piney hops, fruity esters, kiwi, nice. Cask at Cask Days 2012.

Dark amber color, with compact head. Mild aroma of caramel, hops, esters, high alcohols, very light apricot jam. The mouthfeel is smooth and round; it has a pretty good caramel flavor, moderate sweetness, and quite strong bitterness; the hop provides a mild character of bitter oranges too; the yeast leaves some trace, also a light metallic feeling; some darker caramel dominates the final, with light fruitiness.
Solid beer, quite pleasant, with a very minor flaw.

650 ml bottle. Pours a mahogany color with full head which settles slowly leaving nice lacing. Aromas of malt, citrus, and cedar. Fairly sharp. Flavors of roasted malts, light toffee, and grapefruit. Bitter throughout

650mL bottle, pours a clear dark amber with a small beige head. Aroma brings out definitive Belgian yeast notes, with some fruity esters, floral hops and candied sugar. Flavour follows suit, with fruity esters, bread and Belgian yeast notes upfront, followed by refreshingly bitter floral hops notes which end off the palate and linger with a medium bitterness. Body is light, but the flavour profile is quite potent, with no harsh edges. Very enjoyable Belgian / IPA hybrid.
