Bottle at Black Christmas 2017
Hazy amber color. Sweet and rich malt, some caramelized pieneapple, toffee, and maybe bourbon, vanilla.
Very nice.

650mL bottle, pours a hazy golden orange with a small off-white head. Aroma is lightly oxidized, with caramel, apple juice, and toasted bread. Flavour is medium-heavy sweet, with caramel, brown sugar and apple juice. Not the most complex beer of the style, but it's interesting. Solid.

An orangey golden with a thin off white head. In aroma, a smooth sweet biscuit malt with vinous notes, piney hops, treacle and alcohol warmth. In mouth, a sweet pinot de charente, tropical fruits and piney hops, loads of alcohol, ok.

Bottle - Dark fruits, raisin, brown sugar and spice. Clear gold with a think white head. Brown sugar, raisin, candy malts and a sweet finish with a touch of alcohol sweet. A great after dinner or desert beer.

Bottle: Poured a clear light amber color ale with a medium size foamy head with average retention and some light lacing. Aroma of sweet malt with light traces of honey is very nice with light notes of candy. Taste is a magnificent work around pale malt with some nice sweet undertones of honey which are very well balanced. I couldn’t really detect any hops which might have disappeared with aging. Light cookie dough notes can also be detected. Body is about average with good carbonation and no apparent alcohol. It seems like I am going against the grain on this one but I thought the brewer did a magnificent job on the malt backbone which is something that people seems to forget in our hoppy days.
