Thanks Frank.
This was poured into a becher pint glass. The appearance was a semi-hazy burnt orange to amber color with a finger’s worth of white foamy head that dissipated at a decent pace. Light stringy lace.
The aroma had some orange marmalade sweet sort of rind bitterness educating a light citrus to sweet cracker malt base.
The flavor arranged the prior notes together tightly forming a solid balance between sweet and bitter. Aftertaste was sweet malty smooth running into the finish in the same sort of way.
The palate was between light and medium bodied with a fair sessionability about it. Carbonation felt fine. ABV felt fine.
Overall, pretty good APA worthy of having again.

Pours clear amber with great lacing and good initial head. Light hops aroma with a little barnyard hops and atom. Pretty well balanced aroma. Good session ale. Finishes a little bitter but not a huge palate. On tap at the Beagle in Victoria.

Bottle - Light citrus and grass, pleasantly sweet. Clear light orange, light foamy white head. Nice hoppy and lightly bitter ale. Sessionable and very flavourful.

Draught at Alibi Room, Vancouver, as Driftwood Eponymous Ale
Deep blond color; creamy head. Nice aroma of fruity hops and white refined sugar, a bit earthy too. Dry mouthfeel, some malt, grassy, but also with traces of vegetables, leading to some final astringency; strong bitterness, also a bit minty; not a bad recipe, but probably not the best batch.

Very nice large solid head and a darkish yellow with some fog, quite good in the world of golden ales. Very hoppy aroma, almost IPA-ish. Flavour is essentially that of an IPA with just a hint of bready malts in there to indicate otherwise. Not bad, very drinkable.

On tap at Darby's, pours a light golden yellow. Light grainy aroma. Flavour of light fruits, nuts, and caramel malts. Pretty bland.

Orangey golden-amber. Woody cascadey aroma with slightly sticky crystal malts. Smells a lot like SNPA. Caramelly body with woody cascadey notes. Any floral element drops out late, leaving more caramel malt complexity. Good balanced beer.

Bottle. Nice hazy golden, lacing creamy head. Light fruity aroma. Almond, light fruity ale, low on hops, not offending in any way. Nut flour aftertaste.
