Poured a deep maroon brown from bottle. Probalby my favorite pumpkin beer of the 2016 season. Good blend of dark ale malts and pumpkin/cnnamon. I know it’s cliched but really does taste like pumpkin pie

Medium brown, amber accents. No head. Light body, touch of gourd and dark sugars, but thin. Touch spicy towards the finish.

20/XI/15 - 1Pt. 6Fl. Oz. bottle @ home - BB: n/a, but bought only 3 weeks ago at the brewery (2015-1632) Thanks to Mathieu and Barbara for picking this one up for me!
Clear purple brown beer, small creamy beige to brown head, unstable, dissipates quickly. Aroma: lots of overripe banana, sweet, spicy, cloves, cinnamon, gingerbread. MF: soft carbon, medium body. Taste: lots of cloves, spices, sweet, caramel, bit sugary. Aftertaste: very spicy, lots of cloves, bit sweet, soft bitterness, way too spicy.

My favorite season is finally upon us. Drinking beers like this is a very happy reminder. Beer is proof of a lot of good things. Draft pour at the brewery in their signature tulip glass. Pours a red tinted black with a tan ring head. Rich caramel and smooth pumpkin aroma. Matching flavor. I don’t rate them nearly enough, but I love these pumpkin beers. I think this year will be an up year for them for me, and I couldn’t have started much better. Awesome beer.

Sampler at Chuck’s in Seattle. Maybe the only thing that sets this pumpkin beer apart from the pack is the dark copper color. Clear beer. Aroma is vegetal gourd with moderate strength spices, clove heavy. Flavor has surprising hop presence, less gourd and more spice. At least its not sweet.

Robert brought this one back from a trip to Washinton. +++ Sampled from a 22 oz brown bottle this beer poured a very dark brown color with orange highlights and a huge fluffy brown head that lingered and left good lacing. The aroma was malty, toasty and a bit woody with notes of dark fruits and red wine. The flavor was malty and toasty caramel, toffee, wood, red wine, dark fruits and nutmeg. Long malty and toasty finish of caramel and red wine. Moderately full bodied. Solid.

Bomber from Total Wine Virginia Beach. Pours a hazy red color with a medium sized foamy tan head. Decent head retention. Aroma of pumpkin, pumpkin spice, toasted and herbal notes. Faint earthiness. The taste is pumpkins, toasted malts, caramel and a weird canned tomato thing. Medium bodied. Disappointing.
