Jde o svrchně kvašené speciální tmavé pivo stylu Russian Imperial Stout, charakteristické hustou pěnou, tmavou barvou a příchutí po praženém sladu. Pochází ze Skotska, ale své označení získalo pro svou oblíbenost v carském paláci v Petrohradě. Toto pivo se svou silou a charakterem báječně hodí k probuzení ze zimní malátnosti, proto Torpid Mind. Složení: pitná voda, ječný slad plzeňský, pšeničný slad nekuřovaný dubem, pražený ječmen, ječný slad bavorský, chmel Nothern Brewer, pivovarské kvasnice svrchního kvašení.

Can. Malty aroma amd taste, chocolate, light roasty and coffee notes, medium bitter. Medium to full body, malty roasty and chocolate bitter sweet finish. Ok.

On draught at Craft House. Pours black with small brown head that dissipates quickly. Chocolate on the flavor and aroma. Boozy dominant for the ABV.

From tap with OGJ at the newly moved Restaurace Kulovy Blesk, Prague 06.01.20. Ebony. Brown head and lacing. Excellent taste and aroma of dark chocolate, cold coffee, roasted malt and cough medicine.

Sample from bottle. Black. Vanilla in the aroma. Sweet flavor with soft roast and cacao. Thinnish but well rounded.

Tap at Zlý Časy. Almost pitch black body, tan head going towards brown. Caramel-toffee aroma, light raisins. Similar taste, big caramel-toffee maltiness, raisins, soapy touches, tart black patent malt touch in the finish. Creamy really. Not brilliant, but nice.

Draught @ GBBF 2017, [ Great British Beer Festival 2017 ], London Olympia, Hammersmith Road, London, England W14 8UX.[ As Bad Flash Torpid Mind ].Clear dark black brown colour with a small to average, frothy - fizzy, good lacing, mostly lasting to diminishing, light brown head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, dark malt, chocolate, wood. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a long duration, sweet malt, dark malt, chocolate, roasted, wood. Tap at the Craft House Prague. Poured a clear dark brown colour with a lasting frothy tan head. The aroma is sweet roasty malt, oats, coffee, milk chocolate. The flavour is moderate to strong sweet with a smooth, rich, roasty, chocolate, light boozy alcohol palate. Full bodied with flat carbonation.

300 ml. draft @ Bad Flash. Black super creamy mocha head. Nose is very roasted coffee grains, mocha. Bit too harshly roasted but tasty mocha, chocolate, basic coffee, creamy with lactose feel, tasty brew.
