RBESG 2019, Grand Tasting. Dark brown, small off-white head. Malty, popcorn, cardboardy malty touch, dark bread and alcohol. Bready, woody, malty and some vegetable such as beetroot. Drinkable, medium to full body, smooth. Had better.

Dark brown with a frothy head. Aroma of coffee (faintly) and amaretto. Taste is mildly bitter with some dark chocolate bittersweetness at the end. Medium-bodied, moderate to prickly carbonation. Okay.

Pours to a spongy tan head and a dark black body. Nice nose with cherry, dried fruits, chocolate. Strong mouth, coffee, sweet malts, alcohol, nut, bitter aftertaste. Good!

Bottle sample at a tasting at Tom L's place. Thanks Stas. Very dark brown to black, big beige head. Caramel, some chocolate, some fruitiness, yeast, sweet, bitterish note, a bit of alcohol, medium-bodied.

33cl bottle at Tap-House Munich. Dark brown color with a huge, thick, creamy, moderately lasting beige head. Aroma of sweet roasted malt, charred oak, bitter chocolate and coffee. Taste is lightly bitter, roasted malt, subtle smokiness, wood, plums, raisins and coffee in finish. Noticeable warming alcohol. Medium to full body with average carbonation. Tasted on 8/17-19.
