Rainier beer brings together nature’s bounty from the great Northwest. Pure spring waters combine with golden barley and verdant hops to produce a beer rich in taste and texture. Fermented slowly with a pedigree yeast culture under tightly controlled conditions, Rainier comes forth with a satisfying malty flavor over a slightly fruity background, spiced with Chinook, Mt. Hood, and Willamette hop notes.

12 oz. can, bought randomly at Coaltrain. Pours a clear, straw color, with a medium, fizzy, white head. The aroma is white bread, rosewater, butterscotch, and light pine wood. Sweet and malty, with a mild bitterness. Light body, with a crisp, grainy, and effervescent mouthfeel. This is a simple and surprisingly pleasant lager. Unoffensive, very lightly hopped, and refreshing. I'm surprised to say that this would probably be one of my top choices for a truly cheap beer.

Some bar in Seattle: pours golden with fizzy head. Aroma is grain and corn. Taste is sweet with minimal bitternes. Shitty aftertaste for a while.

From a 16 oz. can. Pours a clear gold with an off white head. Pretty run of the mill pale lager. But Walt Longmire loves it.

GABF 2015. The festival was the first time I saw this beer and did not want to pass up the opportunity to try it. Yellow lager, some white head and well carbonated. good palate. A little malt, but nearly flavorless but not bad at all, and perfectly drinkable.

Milestone beer time! I think I’m gonna start doing cool beers for my every 100, and it starts now. 24 oz man can that I didn’t bother pouring. I wanted to enjoy this the way this can is meant to be enjoyed. Soft hop aroma. To be honest, nothing about this beer offends me. Flavor is very light, but the taste is in no way bad to me. Smooth flavor and a sweet finish. I like to think I’m still enjoying a local beer. It’s definitely a local favorite beer, and it’s hard to go far without someone ordering it. I just don’t think I ever had it before today. First time for everything. Not bad.

Snagged a 24oz can of this "mountain fresh beer" to go with dinner tonight. Drank from the can so it looks like a can. Slight hop presence in the aroma. Flavor is similar with low key sweet Malta and some bread. Surprisingly smooth and not half bad, actually. I wouldn’t mind drinking more of this one so much.
