Can, hazy gold with a small head. Aroma is weak but well balanced. Taste is very weak also. Just no good.

On tap @ SN Mills River Nov 2019. Pint. Classic clear, golden body. Solid lace. Smell is a little stuffed up, light cheese & lager. Taste is classy, dry malt lager, though obviously a little small & lacking @ 3.5%. Pollen isn't in a large enough quantity to add more then a bit of an itchy curiosity on the absolute drag of the finish, when warm.

Can thanks to Drake! Gold, hint of haze, white head. Honey, grasses, floral notes en la nostrilz. Flavor is grasses, green leaf, light honey, hint of flower petals. Light, a bit bitter. Drinks better than 95 calories, but it's still thin.

Crystal clear golden coloured body with a super tall, very soapy, off white and even tan head, about 8 centimetres tall. Aroma of pure skunk when the can is cracked that permeates, but then a few seconds later, the smell is almost all grain with some malted barley, a dash of water, some light lemons and a touch of hay with grasses, nothing too pleasant throughout. Ultra Light-bodied; Very watery and grainy flavours show at first with a light citrus and funky cereal, malt and light perfume finish with nothing too pleasant and nothing strong at all - there are all very weak notes. Aftertaste is dry, citrusey, watery and devoid of character in a bad way, of course. Overall,  a very poor beer throughout, sort of as expected,  but I was hoping for perhaps more flavour or at least character, and this purely didn't deliver. Not worth trying at all, even if it's in front of your face for $0,50...if you have an option, take the OTHER. I  sampled this twelve ounce can purchased from Harris Teeter in Arlington (Columbia Pike), Virginia on 17-August-2020 for US$1,87 sampled at my house here in Washington  on 27-August-2020.

Green can for a $1 at JR's. Smells rather ubiquitous with a slight hint of brittleness. A little astringent for the alky content. White head goes rocky. Taste is OK but its got a little more kick in it than a good old civilized old country kolsch. Initially, I think I feel a little tartness in there but I think it was just a fading whim. Just a tad medicinal in the middle. Not sure if the slight astringent flavor is from the bee pollen or not. However, in the end, it is somewhat on the refreshing side but its nothing special and I'm surprised SN is getting on this band wagon.

Can (pkgd 8/02/19) pour from Harvest Market, Bedford (R.I.P.). Appearance is clear golden yellow with nice sparkle, finger-width foamy white head and trace lacing. Aroma is moderately strong lightly musty funk, tart fruit, lime, stale ginger ale, yeast. Taste is much like aroma--musty funk, dusty pilsner malt, mild lime and old ginger ale. Mouthfeel is light side of light-to-medium bodied with smooth, frothy texture, average carbonation and very crisp, dry finish that tastes very much like nothing with dry lingering bitterness. Overall, the appearance is the highlight and is fairly attractive. On the plus side, there are a variety of aromas and flavors but none are particularly desirable and the sum is not greater than the sum of its parts. I've never really liked Kolschs to begin with and this does nothing to stir my interest.

12 oz. can trade with tfontana. Pours a clear golden color with a normal sized white head. The aroma and flavor have weak honey, light florals, white bread. Does anyone know what bee pollen actually taste like? Thin watery body and texture. Kind of bland.

12oz can. At this point through the mix pack I know I would never buy another Sufferfest beer, but here we go again. Sort of clean body, not much malt tone. Mild dried out honey. Weak, artificial, plastic tone. Lemony-lime artificial oddness. Not that good.
