Can from Drankerij. Pale golden, semi clear pour, white head. Light esters, a touch of peppers as well, decently phenolic, which I like. The coriander is quite apparent both in aroma and taste, pushing the spicyness further. Mild to medium bitterness to enhance drinkability. Not super complex, but quite decent otherwise

Can from Bierkoning, Amsterdam. Aroma is wheaty with hops, spicy yeast, somewhat fruity with citrus, peppery notes, a little coriander, and light bubblegum. Flavour is moderate sweet and bitter. Body is medium. No problem with carbonation! Pretty decent brew.

(Draught at De Spuyt, Amsterdam, 16 Feb 2024) Hazy golden colour with frothy, white head. Fruity, herbal nose with citrus, hay, grass, herbs and white bread. Fruity, herbal taste with notes of white bread, citrus, grass, hay, herbs, yeast and a mild grassy bitterness. Medium body, quite dry. Fresh, floral and herbal saison. Nice one.

@home poured into a tumbler. Hazy pale golden colour, fair uneven frothy white head, mostly diminishing, small yeast circles, light lacing. Aroma saison yeast, orange, tangerine, pear, bready. Fruity taste medium sweet and bitter, orange, tangerine, peppery notes. Medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation, dry and fruity sweetbitter aftertaste, peppery notes, more bitterness in the finish, like this one, easy to drink, well-balanced, good.

Canned 26/6/2018. 330 ml. can. Quite little haze, citrus golden, little head, uneven. Nose is oily bitter citrus, pepper, hay, aromatic tea hop oil, pepper and dash sweet quince. Oily low bitter quince taste, soft carbonation, bit bitter hay, pepper, sweet tea, pepper, sweetish oil, candy, low esotheric oil. Pleasant overall low bitter, nice quince and tea flavour, maybe not very saison-esque or at least rather quite USA inspired, herd up quite well, definitely better than the score suggest on here. Mine wasn’t over carbonated like the previous batches were looking back the older ratings.
