Perfectly clear golden coloured body with a faint, single to perhaps two centimetre tall pure white head that fades relatively quickly, but the filtered clear glow is a bit disappointing. Aroma of wheat, pungent yeast, bread, coriander seed, light curacao, some full oranges and a dash of light sugars - very nice. Light to Medium-bodied; Assertive grassy and herbal notes at first that show some very light spices like coriander seed and allspice, but the majority of the flavour is from the wheat and light biscuity malt noticeable along with some light sweetness. Aftertaste is dry, but very wheat-focused with some coriander seed, more of an orange flavour and a dash of candy sugar and pure fruit-based-sweetness. Overall, a nice and fairly dry completely filtered hef with some herbal notes, a good deal of sweetness and a bready bite that shows almost more than the pure wheats. Not my favourite, but again, a nice one to sample considering the heat index today here in Washington was over one hundred degrees Fahrenheit. I sampled this sixteen ounce, pint-sized can, purchased from Whole Foods in Arlington (Pentagon City), Virginia on 27-September-2019 for US$3,99, canned on 17-July-2019, sampled almost exactly a single year later at my house here in Washington on 20-July-2020.

Straightforward, classical hefe, balancing banana, clove, grass, lemon, grain, and yeast with a slightly sweet finish laced with a mild, hay-tinged floral hop bitterness. Nothing challenging, nothing fancy, but well-composed and comforting in its familiarity.

Banana, orange, clove, wheat malt, and straw aroma - spot on. Hazy pale yellow with giant white head. Moderately sweet banana, orange, wheat malt, and mildly bitter straw and clove flavor. Good body. Aroma is great but doesn't quite come through in the flavor.

Refrigerated 16 oz. aluminum can, canned Aust 19, 2018, poured into a weizen glass. Hazy golden with big fluffy white head. Aroma is wheat esters, medium/light body, well carbonated, and good small-bubble lacing. Taste is wheat esters, clove, and bubble gum.

$3.90 pint can, Wine Warehouse. Pours hazy gold with a large white head. Aroma is banana, wheat, green peas. Flavor is wheat, banana, some sort of weird sweet something, green peas, light clove. Um... I don't hate it.

Tap. Pours hazy yellow, medium white head, creamy, good lacing. Aroma is wheat, clove, banana. Flavor is very light sweet, minimal bitterness, lemon. Light body a bit acrid.

Draft: Yeast and coriander. Milky yellow, thin head. Lemon, bread crust. Light body, harsh mouthfeel. Brewer calls it a hefeweizen, but it’s more of a wit.
