Bottle: Hazy, medium golden-amber with a small, off-white head. Wheat, banana, clove aroma. Taste is sweet and rich.....wheat malt, banana, clove , orange malt......a touch of earthy nuttiness. Really great flavour.

16.9 oz bottle purchased at Lukas Liquors in Overland Park, Kansas as part of the Urban Chestnut collaboration mix pack. The pour is a hazed orange golden with a ½ inch egg white head. The aroma is herbal, banana, clove and wheat grain. The taste is orange citrus, herbal, clove and finishing with a mineral banana yeastiness. The palate is medium bodied, unfiltered mouth feel, and the crisp mineral finish. Really well constructed Hefe, tasty.

Bottle. Orange, banana, clove, wheat malt, and light straw aroma. Hazy dark golden with nice off-white fluffy head. Moderately sweet orange/banana, wheat malt, light clove, and mildly bitter herbal hay flavor. Body on the lighter side. Light nutty finish. Very nice - great to get a proper Hefeweizen again.

Pour is a cloudy orange with a large white head. Aroma is your typical banana and clove thing. Flavor is more banana and clove with some bubblegum sweetness. After the swallow there is a lot of hefe yeast esters left on the tongue. Everything here is very typical of the style not that there is anything wrong with that. A very spot on German hefe which is expected from these 2 brewers.
