12 ounce bottle into lager glass, best before 6/5/2017. Pours crystal clear pale golden/yellow color with a 1 finger foamy and fluffy white head with good retention, that reduces to a thin lace cap that lingers. Light spotty lacing clings down the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation retaining the cap. Aromas of cracker, lightly toasted biscuit, light honey/pepper, and herbal/grassy earthiness. Nice and pleasant aromas with good balance of pale malt and light-moderate earthy hop notes; with solid strength. Taste of cracker, lightly toasted biscuit, light honey/pepper, and herbal/grassy earthiness. Light-moderate herbal, grassy, spicy bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of cracker, biscuit, pepper, and herbal/grassy earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Nice robustness and balance of pale malt and light-moderate earthy hop flavors; with a great malt/bitterness balance. Moderately increasing dryness from bitterness and carbonation. Medium-high carbonation and light body; with a very smooth, crisp, fairly bready/grainy, and lightly sticky balanced mouthfeel that is great. Perfectly clean on lager flavors, with zero yeast notes present. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 4.2%. Overall this is a nice light pale lager. All around good robustness and balance of pale malt and light-moderate earthy hop flavors; very smooth, crisp, clean, and refreshing to drink. Surprisingly flavorful for the ABV and 99 calories. Clean pilsner malt flavor with nice balancing hop presence. A nicely enjoyable offering.

12 oz. bottle, thanks to jcwattsrugger. perfect clarity in a golden color. Mild aroma of hints of pale malts and honey.
No surprise that the flavor is extremely light. light pale maltiness, weak grain and mild cereal flakes. No bitterness and ends lightly sweet. Finish is clean. Body is very thin yet watery. Overall, I haven’t enjoyed this brewery’s yeast strain. This at least is not awful. I feel like overall this brewery has improved over the "Shiner Bock" I sampled years ago.

Bottle labeled as light blonde. Twist off, refreshing light pale appearance. Light metallic aroma. Good bubbly cutting co2, nice. No heaviness in this brew, light as described, really goes down enjoyably. Could easily drink a few of these. Perhaps a mild hint of soap in the end. Good overall beer drinken experience. If it didn’t have metal in the aroma, I would have given it a 3.

Bottle: Clear, light gold with a short white head. Lemon, grain, straw aroma. Taste and body have some decent substance..... Barley malt, grains, maybe a little rice-y creaming...(I don’t know if they used rice as an adjunct or not)...... Really a pretty darn good light pale lager.

Bottle. Biscuit malt and straw aroma. Golden yellow with small head. Moderately sweet milky biscuit malt and mildly bitter straw flavor. Good body. Pretty good - would rather drink this then Shiner Bock.

A pale blonde beer with a thick creamy white head. In aroma, light grainy malt with light grassy hops, light mineral notes, so-so. In mouth, corn adjunct, light mineral, light corn sweetness, a touch sunstruck. Bottle from 7/11, Cancún.

12oz twist off cap bottle labeled Light Blonde pours with watery gold bubbly crystal clear body that supports a loose weak white head. The aroma offers up lagery fruity esters and a dusty sort of something and then a faint whiff of floral hops. The taste is similar with a sugary malt sweetened mild floral hoppiness mixing with sweet apple and pear like fruity esters. It gets to being less sweet into the finish with a faint brief sort of lemon note, so there’s that. Overall just too sweet for a session beer.

Bottle, 12oz. As Shiner Light Blonde. And yes, it is a light blond beer, almost pale yellow, clear, and with a minimal sized white head. The aroma is rather weak, some pale malts, yellow apples and a hint of spent grains and a very faint touch of citrus show up. It’s very thin on the palate, with a soft carbonation and some hints of bitterness. Not much flavor either, just a little fruityness and some pale malts. Short finish. Well, it doesn’t meet much resistance going down the throath, but it doesn’t taste much either, and is one hell of a boring beer. 130829
