The Trilogy MMXVIII - Hops. Triple IPA collab with Garage Beer Co.

Our Trilogy series is designed to showcase the three core elements that shape every beer you drink.

From across the world, some of the true masters of these ingredients have come to join us at the Old Flax Store to pay homage to Hops, Yeast, and Malt. Each year we add a theme to the trilogy, whether it's geographical, the use of fruit or barrel aging, this family of beers will have common elements built into their DNA.

In the third year of our trilogy series that DNA is IPA.

Draught, half pint. Tasted on the 14/12/2018 at Catraio Craft Beer Shop, Porto (Portugal). Hazy yellow colour with a low white head. Aroma of bubblegum, citrusy hops, passionfruit and yeast. Taste is malts, passionfruit, bubblegum, grassy hops and some yeast, leading to an oily and bitter finish. Poor value. Next one please!

440ml can @ Station, shared with Mike. Pours a hazed golden yellow, large white topping. Sweet juicy nose. Light to medium bodied. Soft bubblegum sweetness with additional lychee and sweet passionfruit with some floral notes. Probably my favourite of the three.
