Objectively the most thirst-quenching beer we’ve ever brewed, SeaQuench Ale is a session sour mash-up of a crisp Kölsch, a salty Gose and a tart Berliner Weiss brewed in sequence with black limes, sour lime juice and sea salt. The result? A citrusy-tart union that has captured the attention and hearts of beer, wine and margarita drinkers alike!

After a full year of research and development, the blissfully inefficient SeaQuench Ale hit the mark and the mood we were looking for. With a touch of salt on the tongue and a bit of malt sweetness in the finish, SeaQuench Ale is as unique as it is refreshing and █████████ and perfect to down the whole year round.

A bubbly light straw body with a thin white head. The nose hints at sour fruit, lime and wheat expected in the taste. Really refreshing. A balance of fresh lime, salt, grain and some spice. Some sweetness but in the end the sour and tart take the day allowing for a clean finish. Top notch summer ale.

Can pours slightly cloudy with lively carbonation and a white head that reduces to lace. Silky mouthfeel with tart lime flavor that lingers. Very slight citrus rind bitterness at finish. Very nice ale!

Bottle. I have to give Dogfish a lot of credit for being so original. This beer does have the sour lime and salt it claims but I'm not sure what a "black" lime it.

Notes from 1/23/18 Who doesn't enjoy unexpectedly inhaling a 12ft wave while derping through a seemingly safe surf at high tide? Dying to relive that special, suffocating moment, but from a distance? Well here ya go. 12oz single from New Beer Distributors. DFH rounded pint glass. Murky, pale amber brew. Plenty of triggering, seafoam-like head. Lime, salt, dusty wheat, it's all there. Black, green, indigo, all the same to my snout. Taste is tangy, like tart limeade with a slight honey-ed, tannic edge. Thick & itchy feel. The salt comes through more as it warms, so I'd chug & avoid that if you're looking to prevent any additional traumatic family beach day triggers. Enjoy!

Lime and some salt. Drinks easy enough, decent for original German style. Buddy bought super tall can of this and not sure why I'd want to drink that much of it. Golden pour. Light tangy finish.
