Bottle picked up from *actually forgot where I got this from. Consumed at home Attenkirchen, Saturday 29th February 2020 in the company of Baz, Jude, Karen and Stuart. We're listening to Craig Charles Funk and Soul show on 6Music and for dinner tonight we've got Raclette. Pours hazy amber with a light filmy head. Really thick in the mouth, surprisingly easy drinking. Okay its a one trick pony but it's fine, boozyness perhaps, warming, sweetness. Good.

330 ml. bottle picked up at brewery @ shared at Lustenau (Austria). Clear orange with no head. Nose is sticky sweet, fish guts, DE, banana soap, cloying. Overly boozy, heavy plastic instead of barrel, soap, thick plastic, oily, bit hard to drink, more different & harder to drink that the base beer than better in any way.

Süßlich herber, trocken getreidig Antrunk. Dumpf herb-malzig, minimale Säure, eher trocken, disharmonisch. 8/7/7/7/9/7

Clear golden with almost no head. Aroma is white wine, tanines, fruits. Taste is winelike bitterness. Quite creamy. Not my favourite, i don’t like that wine stuff.

Bottle Cherry yoghurt and honey aromatics. Hazy amber, offwhite head. Soured, medium body, dry. Light madeira, iodine, a bit fruit. Interesting

Sweet vanilla and tanines. Taste is also sweet. Not boozy at all anymore. A bit of vanilla truffes. The oak nearly takes over, but overall, this is a winner over the regular bock. EDIT: The regularly released 10% version. Hazy orange color with white head. Aroma is slight vanilla, base beer more noticeable. Taste is tanninic, a bit dusty, vanilla, some booze sweetness. Apricot & peach fruitiness in the back & aftertaste. Low carbonation. Nice balance! Uprated from 3.4 to 3.6.
