Had this (named Festbier but I am sure that it's one and the same as Kirta) on tap with Jenny and Lars at Haag Herbfest, Haag in Oberbayern Saturday 30th September 2023, earlier Lars has smoked and BBQd Beef short ribs and Pork ribs today, they were marvellous. Had a stein of this, it pours warm gold, excellent clarity with a huge frothy white head. Nice maltiness on the nose, a little breadiness also, there is some faint caramel aroma also. Very nice Festbier, light fruitiness, really nice.

Bottle. Golden color, floral bready aroma with hay. Full bodied. Bready floral flavor with hay, tobacco and orange. Just a bit of malty sweetness.

50cl bottle. A clear golden beer with a off white lacing. Aroma of sweet intense grainy pale malt. Taste of sharp grainy malt, straw, moderate sweet malt.

Tap. Slightly unclear golden color with white head. Aroma is sugar icing, herbal hops, light caramel, bready. Taste is the same, quite fresh, medium sweetness. Oily mouthfeel with medium carbonation. Decent!

[Munich 2018] Sampled draft @ Tap House Munich. Clear golden, creamy white head. Nose is lovely dandelion, flowers, faint butter in a good way. Taste is tea, hay, oily, seeds, flowers, honey & cough drops in a good way, very nice.

Tap tap house. Clear golden, offwhite cream. Doughy metallic grassy nose. Big chewy malt body, metallic and salty edges, leafy grassy Hops. Malt takes over in the finish which leads to an overall moreish result.

Pours a clear golden color. Aroma and taste are grass, malt, caramel notes and hops.

0,5 l bottle. Huge thank you to Georg! Clear dark golden in the glass, mighty white foamy head. Grassy with a little bit malt and hop on the nose. Taste starts grainy, malty with a nice balanced hop bitterness, crisp and grassy. Sime sweetness in the background. Really a lot of taste. Nice one!

Milder, später stärkerer hellwürziger Antrunk. Spritzig, angenehme Süße. Leicht steigende Herbe, dann trocken werdend. Weich, vollmundig. Gut. 8/10/11/11/8/11

(bottle) Clear, pale golden colour with a blond and big foamy head. Biscuity and grainy malty aroma with traces of honey, draff and herbal hops. Sweet flavour with tinge of bitterness, medium to light bodied with a calm carbonation. Quite hearty malt character with notes of biscuits and honey, accompanied by shy herbal accents towards the sweet and slightly bitter finish. A decent Festbier. 18.XI.11
